The Wilkes-Barre Area School Board is planning on closing its three high schools and replacing them with one consolidated school, according to WNEP. All three Wilkes-Barre schools are at least 90 years old and need major repairs. A consolidation would result in 28 wrestlers losing their varsity positions and the new school would undoubtedly be class AAA.

I'm surprised this merger has been so long in coming. The creation of Central Mountain High School comes to mind as a precedent and also Wyoming Valley West.

As far as I heard its a done deal.
Meyers, Coughlin, and GAR
Meyers and GAR are D2 AA Coughlin is D2 AAA
For the most part Meyers and Coughlin are always a part of the Duals....and field a full lineup GAR usually covers 8-9 weights.
Obviously they will be 3A and in Football who knows
