talking to a towanda fan and he thought sexton had poor match up selection. what do u guys think? Yes, I agree. Not sure why he didn't use hunsinger at 170 to wrestle Frankenfield, I would of put sites at 152(160 too much for sites, does better at 145-152) Ripic is good in any spot 145-160, hunsinger 170(prolly wouldn't have beat Frankenfield but would have given him a better matchup)...as for ltwts I would of bumped Blascak up to 113 and put lamphere at 106. The last two times Kelley wrestled lamphere he beat him so I would of put Blascak up against Kelley. But it is what it is. Sexton's the coach so he must of had his own strategy at why he did what he did.

i did updates icecream hope u saw them.
i was very close with my prediction
predicted 49 21
ended 46 21
force won
we drive on to d duals!
the only thing i thought sexton could have done different is put lamphere at 106 and blascak at 113..but either way..wyal still wins by 18+ worst case.

Yes, no mAtter how sexton matched them up, Towanda was not going to win. Not this year! With a different matchup he might have made it closer, but not a win. Sexton could of changed up some of those upper mid weights and could of made it more interesting, but again it is what it is. That's wrestling, you just never know!

Agree towfan06. Sometimes, when its late in the season like this, and the outcome is fairly certain, a coach will chose match ups that show him something about his wrestlers. He may be thinking down the road for the district duals. Knowing of him, I'm certain he had legitimate reasons that will benefit the team at some point. Only he knows for sure.
