I fully support the 6 and 2 qualifier concept. Just stating that the top kids from D2 performed as well or better than expected. Not many people expected more than 5 qualifiers.

And what happens when a stud gets upset in the semis? He's done?
If D2 is so awful why wouldn't d4 want them in the bracket? It would be easier to get out for the top 5 wouldn't it?
Why do you people think they separate AAA and AA?
Here's a thought, let's get rid of classifications. Then d2's AAA would be added to the mix, compared to D4's 3 schools.....I'm sure d2 would compete then.
All this talk of changing the format just seems like excuses to me.....just win.

This makes no sense. It adds 14 kids from D4 that could’ve had a shot.... look at every 6th placer from D4 and tell me that they might have a shot to compete to make a run in regionals

LOL just win, D2 didnt even have a kid after 152 qualify, I believe thats winning big time, the numbers of schools dont matter, D9 has less schools and hell Brookville won a state title a few years ago so come up with a better excuse, You had one team with 12 kids there, and only 1 advance with an overtime win over a freshman, lets make it a 12 man bracket, 8 from d4 and 4 from d2 numbers still wont change you may get your 7 to 8 kids advance like always

I know d4 is better man, and I know d4's 6th and sometimes beyond would beat our champ. I'm not boasting about d2....just saying they did way better than expected, I feel. The number of the schools do matter. That is why they have classifications. School #1 graduates 800 kids per year. School number #2 graduates 100 kids per year. What school has a better talent pool to choose from? It naturally would be school #1. But again, just win right?

(81%) 8 of the 70 D4 kids lost out. (11%) So who deserves more representatives by those numbers ?

D4 has 7 District 5th place finishers qualify for states. I would love to see how the District 6th placers would have faired. I feel some would have made it through if we took 6 and D2 brought only 2 to regionals.

I feel like this year maybe not as much as other years as well, but two that come to mind are Goodrich and Chipeleski. Maybe even Lorson and Granahan.
