What is the general consensus on the "stalemate" call in the 160# finals match? Lawrence had the cradle locked when the ref called stalemate! Please educate me, I thought if the wrestler has a pinning combination it should never be a stalemate? Am I wrong?

100% right, was a terrible call and while it didn't directly cost a kid a title it was a contributing factor. No telling if he would have turned him or not, but didn't the ref give a quick point on an illegal move where most refs would go potentially dangerous as a warning?
Will say the kid was fighting the cradle well, but there was still a lot of time.

A great match ruined by an official, that man should be not allowed to ever ref a post season match again, with the choking call, he was in there before saying keep it clean, so not taking that away from him, but the rest was horrible, and we will never know if he would of turned him or not, but give Cerniglia credit he stayed off his back, against maybe the best rider since maybe Zain

Was that a slam in the 113 finals?
The other two slams I saw was Biscoe vs Myers, and Gardner vs Walter

The stalemate at 160 was premature. Not saying it wouldn’t have become a stalemate but it was called too early in my opinion. I thought the ending of the 113 final was very close to being a slam. I was actually a little surprised it wasn’t called but I’m also kinda glad it wasn’t. I’d prefer to not have refs deciding matches based on marginal calls.
