Canton, University of Southern, Montoursville, and Montgomery from my calculations will all end up on the bottom of the 8 team bracket in Milton. Benton as #1 seed on top. What is everyone’s thoughts?

Depends on how the brackets fall, there will be teams who make it because of very weak schedules, and other who wont make it because of good schedules

I agree it should be seeded just like other sports with a point system, We can only hope the best 3 teams move onto the State Duals

What is everyone’s thoughts? I think Benton will wrestle Warrior Run in one Semi Final, wow the bottom half Montgomery vs Southern and Canton vs Montoursville, should be fun matches too watch

If we did our seeding like some of the other districts then strength of schedule would come into play. For example some districts do there's as follows;
Criteria A 120 pts for win over AAA school 100 pts for win over AA school
Criteria B 10 pts for each win a team has that you beat
Criteria C 50 pts for each loss you have to a team with above a 500 record
Criteria A + Criteria B + Criteria C / total matches wrestled
If we were to do this would have been the bracket for the top 16; #1 Benton 189.33 - #16 Danville 92.9 #8 WR 138.67 - #9 Lewisburg 132.22 #5 Canton 146.43 - #12 Milton 111.67 #4 Southern Col 149.1 - #13 Wyalusing 110
#3 Montoursville 151.58 - #14 Mount Carmel 108.33 #6 Towanda 143.5 - #11 Athens 120.9 #7 South Williamsport 140 - #10 Hughesville 124 #2 Montgomery 161 - #15 Muncy 99

And if we're being honest, anything is better than winning percentage. Even the simple formula D4/9 AAA uses is a step up because at least it factors in bonus for wrestling bigger schools. The formulas I've looked at from D3 and D11 are too time consuming for me to figure out, but they factor in your opponent's winning percentage and even your opponent's opponents winning percentage. Either way, we need a change.
