Semis and finals will be on ESPN. Lots of other coverage on ESPN 3 and also ESPNU. Check the listings. Track Wrestling and Flowrestling will also be on top of things. Should be a fun three days.

Penn State had a good first round winning seven of seven bouts and are second in the team standings behind Ohio State. Iowa won five of 10 bouts, or should I say lost five of 10 bouts. Is the glass half full or half empty for the Hawkeyes? don't really care. Here's hoping the Nittany Lions have just as good a second round.

Was really happy with ESPN's coverage. TV coverage on the Div I NCAAs has come a long way since the days of old when we only saw several bouts on ABC's Wide World of Sports. I remember the year--back in the 70's--Shorty Hitchcock of Bloomsburg was national champ and was also the OW. Shorty was interviewed by Keith Jackson thereafter, and he asked Shorty where Bloomsburg is. Shorty answered "30 some miles southwest of Wilkes-Barre." The only problem was I don't think Jackson had ever heard of Wilkes-Barre.
