After finally getting to see him wrestle, I would say that Barnes from williamson is definitely a underated wrestler.

After finally getting to see him wrestle, I would say that Barnes from williamson is definitely a underated wrestler. he will have a good career, but explain to me how he is underrated, he is ranked 5th, which is good for a freshman, he lost to the number 4 ranked kid Shannon, Zimmerman and Watson are ranked 1 and 2, so where is he underrated

Fielder is a good one but really needs more seasoning. He lost two or three times in the Jersey Shore Duals. It was good to see the action in the Fielder-Mironenko bout but I never got the feeling that Fielder would win. He was leading Mironenko briefly because of two full-nelson calls against the Mifflinburg wrestler.

Barnes may have lost in OT to Shannon but he has also beat the 3rd ranked wrestler at 132...The rankings are nice but at the end of the season the best wrestlers will shine ranked or not.

Barnes is tough, but, (just this once) I will have to agree with BPF. He's not underrated because at least he's ranked. Billy is going to be very tough to beat in years to come. He's another one that I saw a lot of this summer at tournaments. Funny how the kids that put the time in seem to be the ones on top every year.

As with most middle weight freshman, people wait to make their minds up during post season wrestling. Unless your name is Marstettler.

not sure if he qualifies for being underrated, but Adam Barrick at 132, who is unranked beat the # 1 ranked kid at 126 Mason Zimmermanat last night 8-6

I would have to go with Shrawder from Mifflinburg. He had a rough start to the season but has really picked it up as of late winning some big matches for the wildcats. I think he will be hitting his peak at just the right time for sectionals and could surprise some people.

Shrawder just got pinned by Yucha from Shamokin last night if the NWCA site is correct. Also a big win for Luis Martinez from Shamokin last night over Hicks 4-2 at 132.

one thing i think is hurting hicks is that last year he was at 103, and this year his weight is 124 so he probably isnt used to these bigger guys, but he'll have too fast.
