Lewisburg won 2, lost 2 at the Line Mountain Duals today.
Lewisburg defeated Hanover HS 48-33 Lewisburg lost to North Star HS 33-42 Lewisburg defeated Elmer Meyers HS 34-33 Lewisburg lost to Line Mountain 22-48
Smith had 2 falls and 2 forfeits. (now 21-0) Ostrowsky had three by fall, 1 by decision. (Now 21-2) Max Reed won by fall, MD, and dec, and lost by TF 15-0. (Now 15-5)
I was unable to attend, and don't know the level of competition other than Line Mountain, but Pat Ostrwosky has really done a nice job for the Green Dragons this year. He is quietly 21-2 on the year. Max Reed is a freshman wrestling 152 to 170 and looking good for the future.
In the Lewisburg match with Hanover, I noticed that Derek Wolford(H) (22-0) won by FF at 195, and Smith(L) (21-0) won by FF at 220. Not sure why they didn't meet, I wasn't there and don't know the circumstances.

Judging by the score of the Hanover match, I'd assume they didn't wrestle to get the team win.

This is what was input into High School Scorebook by Lewisburg. CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THAT LOGAN AIKEY PINNED IAN BROWN! If so, that is a huge win for Logan. Wow! Brown was 22-0 and ranked 2nd in the state!

Im guessing thats where the score doesnt match up with the results, if Brown won then the score would be 48-33

Got ya. But the score usually adds itself up in Scorebook. I can't figure out how the coach got the score to be diff from what he input. The system is pretty user friendly once they figure it out.

Based on how many kids advance at each competition, I believe he will make it to states again. Although I cannot state this with absolute certainty, I would say there is a 99% chance he will stay at 195 since that is his weight (give or take a pound). With Pat Ostrowsky at 182, Smith would not drop, even if he could. I do believe he will stand on the podium this year, but I honestly can't predict where. I'm sure he will aspire for the top, but he lacks the off-season experience others have. Having said that, he did qualify for states last year and has that experience, and he also won the Tiger Wrestling Classic in Delaware which should help him. As we all know, seeding and luck of the draw have a lot to do with where a kid finishes if he is not the eventual state winner. (for example if he is in the bracket opposite the eventual winner since they do not wrestle off for 2nd and 3rd). Finally, he is a competitor and will give it his all. It would please me to no end to see him win it all. Not because he's from Lewisburg, but because he is such a great young man. I hope he and all the D4 wrestlers stay healthy through the post season so they can give it their best. how do you think Brandon Smith will do in postseason?

I hope he and all the D4 wrestlers stay healthy through the post season so they can give it their best. My sentiments exactly. When it gets to individual states its no longer about your team...you cheer for any d4 kids.
