You first said kids that moved to Southern were in elem. Barnes may have lived there as a senior but as a junior he was at Williamson.

It was still 5 years ago I was speaking of the boys currently on the team, so I beg your forgiveness for actually living in the present.

Not excited just wondering why it has taken this long for the trash the team that is succeeding thread to start. I just wonder if Hughesville or Sayre were having success would everyone have their undies bunched or would that be ok. Normally the everyone hates Southern thread pops up the week of District Duals. You guys are behind schedule.

Hey no one said they don't like Southern Columbia Christian Academy ,lol there are other schools that kids transfer into and its not a big deal. The only difference is the number of kids that move to Southern. It is what it is.😁

The next few years there will be a lot of eyes from the area on your Boys in college. Myself included, excited to see how they do at the college level. And remember what Dale Earnhardt always said "It doesn't mater if fans are booing or cheering as long as they are making noise"

We all know Montoursville wins the questionable transfer award for this year. The disciplinary issues that were the start of the conversation still question whether additional members of the southern team could have also been involved.

Something tells me if Harer comes over to Meadowbrook, a bunch of youth wrestlers will eventually be coming over.

A state qualifier transfers in and no one questions that move. Obviously there were no others involved as no one else has been removed from regionals at this point.

I haven't heard a reason why Meadow Brook (certain parent) felt it was necessary to start a program. Like I said I have zero issue anybody wanting to attend a religious school.
But is that the reason kids will be going there, or is it for wrestling. And will they be honest about it? Is starting a wrestling program there for religious reasons, and if so, why are they not starting other sports programs that their kids are involved in?
Or is it more of an ego thing.

Troy did not contest the transfer, so they either didn't want to go through the process or felt it was legit.

I guess the question is, when is it ok to change schools for athletics?
Do we base it on the PIAA, or do we base it on a moral level?

Definitely believe Troy could’ve pushed and blocked the move.
