Ok Marty, since you were able to provide this list, how far did any of these d4 teams make it once they got to the state duals?

Wyalusing won the team state title in 2000 and came in 2nd in 1999. Bloomsburg won the team state title in 2004 and came in 2nd in 2002.
All the brackets from 1999 to 2008 can be found on PIAA wrestling website under archives.

Sure looks like the NTL has the advantage..............Every year you southeners bust our chops and were just as good if not better. Results speak louder than words. Good Luck all D4 kids in the post season.

Good Luck all D4 kids in the post season. I know every year somehow the debate in D4 always deviates to NTL vs. Heartland, and wrestling is the one sport in District 4 where this is the most irrelevant argument because there's been such great success for both leagues on a statewide level. It's really just pointless when it comes to wrestling.

I guess from some of us HACer's we tend to look outside the spectrum of wrestling.

us Heartlanders believe in individual accomplishments, look at last year 12 out of the 14 district champs, yep Heartland Conf, 11 of the regional champs, yep heartland conference, 4 state champs yep heartland conf,

Last years towanda team took 4th at states. I enjoy all of D4's wrestling, we are def a powerhouse district and all should be proud of that. NTL always has a good showing, gotta admit I'm a bigger fan of ntl than the rest but proud of d4 for sure!!
