I think English can win 170 if he brings his "A" game, and I also think Ostrowsky will capture 182. Hopefully, Roman, Aikey, Fox, Danowsky, and Reed can advance for Lewisburg. Again, I give the edge to Solomon over Smith, but I'm sure both of these guys will be knocking heads all the way to Hersey. miltond4: I don't think I will make sectionals saturday, I have to work until 1pm.

ill comment on the notable wieght classes.
170: i will have to take schnyder. english is a fine young wrestler but i think schynder has it for the 1st round
182 never really seen much of ostrowsky, i have seen wesneski... ill take ostrowski tho, by a slim dec.
and the big one..220... Ill have to take solomon, either 2-0, 2-1, or 3-1.

Clark, they are at 195. Solomon lost weight the proper way, a pound or two a week and looks good there. ill comment on the notable wieght classes. 170: i will have to take schnyder. english is a fine young wrestler but i think schynder has it for the 1st round 182 never really seen much of ostrowsky, i have seen wesneski... ill take ostrowski tho, by a slim dec. and the big one..220... Thanks BPF! I'm glad for English, he's worked hard. I've watched him and Shnyder both and I felt English would win. Also glad to see Ostrowsky win, he's worked hard this year too. I watched some of the East sectionals on the Benton Tiger web site. I doubt anyone in districts will beat Mankey or Cotten and Meske looks really good right now.
By the way, the Benton Tiger web site is hoping to video cast the Districts if they get enough contributions. If anyone reading this can contribute it will help bring the Districts to our computers for those that cannot attend all the matches. Maybe someone from the BTWC can post a thread here showing where we can contribute?

there were some real close matches in the final round some were very exciting, big win for English, hopefully we all can fuse the debate now at 195, it was obviously one sided tonight, hopefully both will make the finals at states

I think both Solomon and Smith will make it to States. Regarding the debate, it isn't with me and never has been. Its a long road to Hershey, and anything can happen along the way. I hope they both remain injury free and that they both stand on the podium. With Smith, making the podium will constitute an end to a good year. Sadly, I feel that Ryan is under a lot of expectation to win gold from his fans. Anything less would be a let down. I don't feel that way for him, but his fans do. there were some real close matches in the final round some were very exciting, big win for English, hopefully we all can fuse the debate now at 195, it was obviously one sided tonight, hopefully both will make the finals at states

BPF, Solomon looked good tonight, but there is alot of wrestling to be done. Solomon can beat Smith every week and he may, but it still doesn't gaurentee anything in Hershey. A prime example would be going back to Rebers freshman year. Taylor Cummings handled Reber everytime they met, but they didn't meet up in Hershey someone else beat Cummings and Reber ended up placing much higher(3rd). I am not saying that is going to happen. I am just saying nothing is for sure in the post season.
