Kudos to Danville from a Midd-West fan. That is a fine group of young men. Hopefully all seen the sportsmanship, effort, and team spirit represented yesterday. I saw a close group of kids that cared about each other and represented their school, coaches and families with utmost respect. As for Rosini I got to hang out with him at the Bloomsburg Bike Show last summer. He and I hauled garbage all weekend and I can say he is unusual for a high school kid. He actually wanted to work and he never complained about picking up garbage! Most kids want and get everything handed to them. Steve I am very proud of you and I beleive whatever you put your mind to in life you will be sucessful!

I'm sure Mike Sees or young Mike Sees would love to take over that program. Since they personally know most of the kids from there wrestling club it would be a perfect fit, could you image what they could do for that team? Agreed. Kanaskie wouldn't even have to step down, Sit back and keep control. But I think the problem with a lot of young energetic coaches, is the time and money issue coaching burns up. Unless they are a teacher, have flexible hours, or set-up financially it is tough to be head of an entire program top to bottom.

Yes ur right maybe Shamokins wrestler could learn a thing or two from them. After his piss poor sportsmanship on the mat he threw his headgear at the coach and flipped off all the fans. The Line Mountain kid he wrestled also got in his face and not even so much as a team point. If any one should have been DQ it should have been at least Tillet if not both. I know one thing if one of them would have had on a red and white singlet they would have been a DQ.

Nothing for Shamokin his behavior was way worse then the Line Mountain kid? guess it all depends on the reffs perspective and opinion. not always correct, but pretty much "the law"

Lets get the facts of what really happened before we make assumptions about a kid. Fact - The LM Kid (Britton Heim) is a straight A student that is almost too nice to a fault under normal circumstances. Fact - He blatantly got grabbed in the junk and was squeezed and neither ref was able to see it.
Now think about it - would you expect ANY person (adult or student) to take that and not immediately react in such a way?

Regardless if Heim is a straight A student he showed that he can be a dirty wrestler. In the Semi's he shouldered a MW wrestler in the groin after the ref blew the whistle and they separated. if you don't believe it, its on tape.
I am not condoning that type of behavior, but i can say first hand i witnessed this wrestler give his own cheap shot.

Yes please do so. Because I watched that match as well and didn't see it but maybe it could be pointed out as the refs must have missed it as well if there was no penalty points awarded.

The refs clearly didn't see it, but it was either at the end of the period or when it was stopped for blood time. It was the whole reason the MW wrestler was talking to the ref and voicing his thoughts...
I didn't see it real time because it was pretty quick, but after the match i asked the MW wrestler what happened and he told us. We replayed it on the camera and saw what he did.

Don't know how to put it on youtube from the camera, but if i can figure it out i would be glad to.
I shouldn't have said the LM wrestler is a dirty wrestler because this may have been a one time thing, just pointing out the fact that in the heat of the moment, he did the same thing.

Getting shouldered in the groin area can happen in wrestling and is a natural part of the sport at times. If Heim shouldered the Midd-West kid in the groin as a cheap shot it should be rather easy for two refs to see that it was a cheap shot and a penalty point would have been awared. With two whistles going most wrestlers are trained to keep wrestling until they are sure to stop.
Getting grabbed in the junk under the pile and getting it twisted by hand vs. what allegedly happened to the Midd-West wrestler is not comparing apples with apples. I just don't think it's fair to compare the two but you are certainly entitled to your opinion. There is a big difference between wrestling physical and wrestling dirty and in my opinion Heim is not a dirty wrestler by any stretch of the imagination.

If you saw it, you would see it was intentional.
The MW wrestler is my nephew and i have wrestled and know the difference between incidental contact and a blatant cheap shot. Clearly a cheap shot.
Getting grabbed and giving a shoulder are different and i am not saying they aren't, however, don't make out the picture of the LM kid to be a SAINT and that he wouldn't do anything cheap.
That is the way i read your post and was only showing that he himself gave a very cheap shot, unprovoked i may add.
Other that that, a very clean match. Didn't see the match you are talking about.
