He was lucky enought to hit one of the strongest brackets in any of the district 4 sectionals thanks to the national wrestling federation. Lansberry look dominating shovlins strenght and perface match caught heeter off guard and then he came back to form against rosini and barrick. good luck to them in the post season As for Danvilles coach and schedule its not the wrestlers fault. Everybody at Danville that loves wrestling feels the same way you do What if? As for stephen (My Son) If you have every see them wrestle he gave 110% on every match. No excuses no throwing his headgear and no disrespect for any fan or wrestler. He pinned Austin Miknich in the east central thats going to districts He beat Nixson in the west thats going to districts and Probst did not wrestle him.

Zerbe and Wariki match was the best match of the night by far all Wariki had to do was run and he comes away the winner, piss poor coaching lost that match although both these young men wrestled there As_ off. I enjoyed every minute of it just hated to see it end.

I think Kanaski needs to retire and do the district and the Danville wrestling program a favor. Its been so many years that he has his teams wrestle the schools in our area.I dont know if he thinks that our area is not good enough,or he is just looking out for himself and some state records.I remember when Danville wrestled the area teams and they were a powerhouse.Shik and Danville matches were always marked on the calender.I dont take anything away from the kids.I am sure they work hard in the matroom everyday, but they need to wrestle better competition to prepare those men for districts ,regionals and states.

I have a lot of respect for Coach Kanaskie. The time he has put into the sport, the great years he has had, and the great young men he always puts out on the mat.
I won't get negative and ask him to retire. There are ways for any program to improve. It is up to the parents/boosters to sit down with the coaches and plan it out.

I'm sure Mike Sees or young Mike Sees would love to take over that program. Since they personally know most of the kids from there wrestling club it would be a perfect fit, could you image what they could do for that team?
