Johnson got pinned by Hornberger. The first day of sectionals and Johnson wakes up with the flu no choice but to wrestle or not go on. He made the right choice and wrestled. he will advance to districts sick or not. Better luck next weekend. I would like to see a rematch between those 2 kids.

If he was that sick, why not forfeit. He was already guaranteed of advancing. No excuses this time of year.

Obviously he didn't use it as an excuse. He threw up all day and didn't want to not try. He is a great kid and wanted to give it a try. I give him major props for that. Bottom line he wrestled no matter what he felt like. He isn't on here making it an excuse. Anyone who knows the sport and this process knows all it matters is getting to the next step. Ex. Rick donald from bloom took 3rd at sectionals, 5th at districts and 3rd at regionals. He ended up taking 3rd at states.

I really don't think that it was that major of an upset. I think Johnson only beat him by 2 or 4 points in the district duals
