Big win for Towanda's Bruce Hildabrandt over Darren Killian!!! 220 Match for Tow was huge, they didn't win the match over Route...but 1-0 dec for ROute over Towanda's Joe Cantale who has not wrestled a Varsity matvh all year..Good for you Joe! Way to stick with him and wrestle a good match.
Boo on those Canton fans who were sitting next to us booing Dale Maynard even after they found out he had a medical condition, they still continued to boo. The kid goes out wreslting his ass off when recently diagnosed with a medical condition and he gets booed? COme on, show some sportsmanship. Great job Dale. You may have had a loss, but good for you kiddo!

The "boo" was because it was the second Towanda kid in a row to start rolling his finger for an injury time. Vargeson did it the match before, right after he got broken flat to his belly and the Canton kid was working a bar. In my opinion it changed the course of the bout. Vargeson was able to get a fresh start and score right before the third period forcing the Canton kid to change his strategy in the third. Calling Canton fans unsympathetic towards a diabetic is pathetic. How many Canton fans actually knew Maynard had a sugar problem? I don't know if any did. I had no idea myself. If it would not have happened the match before there would not have been that reaction. Don't make the Canton fans out to be heartless.

I was referring to the fans that sat near us. even after they were told by his parents and fans they still booed him. as far as vargason, he did have a legit injury to his shoulder from that. he walked around after the match with a huge ice pack to his shoulder from the arm bar. Must be you did know about dale, how else would you know he was diabetic, i never mentioned diabetic. never said ALL canton fans were heartless. Just the ones who booed Dale after the match knowing his condition, thats heartless. So unless you know ALL the facts or you are the doctor attending the wrestlers, dont judge injury time unless you know the facts!

I found out after the match like everyone else. What, you don't think anyone talks afer the match? I did not hear any booing after the injury time just when he started rolling his finger for the time out. As for the ice pack, anyone can put an ice pack on their shoulder. The fact of the matter was Vargeson was exhausted and needed a break. It came at a very convient time for him.

And ankle pick, just suck it up and accept a win is a win and Vargason did have a legit injury! Vargason does not call injury time when he's winded, he just keeps going. Until you've seen his style, don't judge him! In general, before you boo an injury call, know the facts first. Kapeesh!!! I'm done having this conversation with you! As for Vargason and Maynard!!! Way to go kids!!!! Keep your head up Dale! And Terrick, I hope your shoulder gets healthy for the weekend! Goodluck!

Glad to hear it. The loss has been accepted didn't really expect it to be as close as it was anyway. Just don't like the fans being made out to be something they are not, especially when the Towanda fans did the same thing in the Troy match when they lost. Funny how the shoe ends up on the other foot at times.

It was a great match. Close one as well, not as close as Troy match, but close! All teams have their own opinions. And we all know teams love to kick Towandas ass. We win some we lose some. That's how we better ourselves!

Tried it once and almost got it, readjusted his grip and did it a second time with success. He put Maynard on his back with about 5 seconds left.
